Three OSS Imperatives: Customer, Cost & Cloud is a virtual event for service providers that need to understand how to adapt and transform OSS (operational support systems) to put customers first, drive out cost, and support new cloud-based services. As revenues stall and costs soar, service providers must cut operational expenditures by large orders of magnitude to remain competitive. At the same time, they need to look to the future, investing in making themselves more attractive to customers for the long term and carving out a role for themselves in the cloud.
The goal of this event is to provide thought leadership on new OSS strategies, systems, and architectures that can help service providers successfully address the three imperatives facing them in 2010: Customer, Cost, and Cloud. It will help service providers better identify and understand how OSS can contribute to improvements in the bottom line and what OSS capabilities are needed to manage the cloud. It will also explore the ways in which service providers can provide customers with a “stickier,” more personalized and competitor-beating customer experience. This event will show how OSS evolution can enable improved operational efficiency, customer-centric processes, and differentiated cloud service management.
The day will include panel sessions and keynote presentations, followed by chats in the virtual lounge. Topics covered in the conference will include:
* Transforming Operational Costs: OSS/BSS Need to Lead the Way
* Cloud Services Management: the Service Provider's Differentiator
* Putting the Customer at the Heart of the Telco Experience
