Associations’ Virtual Events to Triple, says Association Virtual Conferences Report

The rate of adoption of virtual conference will triple in the next 12 months, and generate US$18.6 billion in revenues between 2010 and 2015, according to a recently released report. The report is published by Tagoras, which helps organizations to leverage online learning to grow revenues and engage customers.

This report is based on survey data collected from more than 300 organizations as well as on interviews with 17 associations and 10 technology and service providers. It also found that global virtual conference market will grow at compound annual growth rate of 56%.

The main focus for organisations to run a virtual conference was to generate revenue from virtual conferences. Another reason was to reach their members who could not attend the live conference. Read more about Association Virtual Conferences report
