Used by organizations to effectively bring together their best people and relevant information to make optimal business decisions,
ProtonMedia released the latest version of its virtual collaboration environment,
ProtoSphere 1.5. ProtoSphere provides an arsenal of business-focused meeting, collaboration, and social communication tools that help companies accelerate decision-making, meet human capital management needs, raise productivity, and improve workplace overall performance. ProtoSphere’s Standard Environment Package provides 15 zones, including a Welcome Center, a Collaboration Center, six collaboration rooms, two meeting rooms, two classrooms, a trade show hall, a small auditorium, and a large auditorium. Every space supports Presentation Boards and Media Carousels.
“There’s a lot of interest in virtual meetings today,” says Ron Burns, CEO of ProtonMedia. “But ProtoSphere 1.5 goes beyond meetings to actual business collaboration between cross-functional teams. That’s why we’re the #1 virtual workplace in the life sciences industry. We bake in the tools and technologies that let enterprise teams work securely and meet regulatory and compliance requirements that life sciences and other global organizations are subject to. And with our new 1.5 release of ProtoSphere, collaborating virtually anytime, anywhere couldn’t be easier. All you need to do is plug a USB flash drive with the new ProtoSphere portable app on it into any PC, and you’ll be beamed into your event in no time. No installation. No IT tweaking. No traveling. Just plug in and put your team to work.”
Highlights:
- Portable app and proxy support let you work in Protosphere anywhere. Just plug in any USB flash drive with Protosphere app on it and you’re golden.
- Content Zooming – that gives users an optimal view of content placed on surfaces in the 3D environment.
- One unique feature is the new Web link function. Users now have the ability to hyperlink content on presentation boards.
- Updated camera controls, which gives you a quicker way to look around the room.
- New Avatar Selections – have been added to further increase the number of available options and provide for customizing your virtual self.
- Performance Improvements – resulting in the ability to support up 100 users in a zone (and more than 250 users in the large presentation auditorium).
