Unisfair announced the launch of its newest virtual engagement platform, V9, at the Virtual Edge Summit, February 22 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. V9 allows customers to create their own virtual environment in a matter of hours, according to Unisfair Senior Director of Marketing Joerg Rathenberg. The savings in both time and money is groundbreaking within the industry, says Rathenberg, and will revolutionize the way companies approach virtual events.
Unisfair, a leader in the industry since 2000, has created a three step model for building your own virtual environment: Build, Execute, Measure. The V9 platform makes it easy to choose from a selection of pre-designed templates or upload photos of a particular site (the lobby and meeting rooms of a convention hall, for instance) and incorporate those into your own customized environment. Creating content can be as simple as shooting your own video and uploading it directly into the virtual space as a future webcast. Integrating live polls with content or managing Q&A sessions is another feature made simple with the V9. The architecture also provides ample branding opportunities for both your company and potential partners to help facilitate partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
Creating the most elaborate virtual environment with high-end graphics and fully loaded with relevant content ultimately means nothing without accurate reporting. Unisfair’s Engagement Index allows you to customize your reporting metrics based on the information that’s important to you, whether it be location, interest in particular content or any other combination of demographic data. It provides a numerical ranking of each potential lead based on level of engagement and then allows you to forward that information to the appropriate contacts. Any client with a ranking above 70, for instance, may be forwarded directly to Sales for follow-up. Such specific reporting saves time, manpower and lots of wasted phone calls and emails, says Rathenberg.
In the current economic climate, cost is a necessary deciding factor, and designing your own virtual environment can save thousands of dollars (or tens of thousands depending on the intricacy and functionality of your environment). V9 takes the savings of virtual events one step further. As virtual can be more cost effective than physical, so V9 can be more cost effective than outsourcing to a third party. If indeed more companies go the self-production route, Unisfair’s V9 will be in the vanguard of the new wave.
