Terry Thorpe is the Architect and Chairman of Kohd Group of companies. His Bachelor’s degree is in Mathematics and he is a Fellow of both the British Computer Society and the Institute for the Management of Information Systems, a Senior Member of the Association for Computing Machinery, and a Chartered IT Professional. During his career, which included a number of assignments as IT Director, he has won awards from both technology and business professional bodies. As a Director of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group Terry helped build the fastest growing part of the group by some innovative technology and highly focused marketing. He was also a key member of the team which integrated NatWest and its subsidiaries into the RBS Group taking hands on control of Coutts & Co. Terry has also worked in sales and marketing for Unisys and as a consultant helped HSBC, Barclays, and Skipton Building Society amongst many others.
